Remove New Task/Event buttons from Home Tab

Any way to remove the New Task/Event buttons from Home Tab? I know javascript use to be an option but is no longer since SF disabled javascript sidebar work around.

Hi Rung,

You can remove New Task/Event button from home page. Here is the flow...
Go to Search --> type Home page Layouts --> deselect Calender checkbox and New Task then click on Next --> Next --> then save it.

Then once check your home page.
