Emailtemplete with Autonumber field

Hai,
I have auto number field in my Object as label  Account number , i have created a email template wuth autonumber field <Accounts__c.Name>
.but when i send the email to the reciepients the value of the field is some other field value.
How to display the autonumber field value in email template while sending  outbound email

Hi Ankitha,

Please make sure that you are using the correct API name of your auto number field in the email template.
If the API name that you have used is right then please share your code so that we can have a look and help you. Also provide us the information about the API name of your auto-number field.

Account Number: {!Accounts__c.Name}  this is the merge field of email template,and which is auto number
this is standrd field which dont have api name

Hi Ankitha,

I did not saw any issue with your merge field in the email template. There might be some other issue which we are not able to see here.
It would be good if you can contact me on
