Cannot get App from AppExchange for "Extending Reports using the AppExchange"

When I get to the end of the last module in the Reports and Dashboards badge, I follow the steps to bring the Salesforce Adoption Dashboards into my developer org, only to get a message that the app has been deleted or does not exist.  I see the app was uploaded in 2011.  Is there an update or am I facing a different issue?  Here is the message I receive:

Hello Everyone,

Chris Duarte, the Editor-in-Chief of Trailhead posted a workaround for you that may help. See this file: https://success.salesforce.com/0693A000005u3aU that was posted on this thread: https://success.salesforce.com/0D53A00002ox0xB

Hope this helps.

I'm going to guess that you are on the na35 instance. If that is the case, you will not be able to complete this challenge with that DE. na35 currently has a bug in the system that is not allowing it to install AppExchange packages. You might want to "like" this post in the Success Community to receive updates on the situation: https://success.salesforce.com/0D53A00002ox0xB

Hi Parker.

I am on NA35, and just found that Community link you posted as well. Thank you.

Hello Parker,

Thank you for pointing us in the right direction!

No problem! I'm glad that I could help! If you have another DE that is not on the na35 instance, or can get one, you can log into the website using your main DE, complete the challenges in the non-na35 org and check it against that. Here's a video that explains that a bit better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rKrBR5qbTg

Is there a way to request an account on a different instance?
Parker EdelmannParker Edelmann
No, there is not. You can only request a new DE and hope that it's not on na35. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
