Jesus Escobar Separate accounts and contacts based on user roles
So i am trying to separate accounts and contacts based on the user roles.
EX: we have two user groups GIE and POGI well if GIE has 10 users and they create accounts and contacts i dont want POGI to see those accounts and contact and vise versa. Please anything helps.

First of all the OWD setting for both Account and Contact has to be Private.
Now you can create a shring rule on both objects where Accounts/Contacts created by any particular group users say GIE will only be shared with the same group i.e. GIE.
