Hi,

In layman language these terms mean:
  • Customization - Writing Apex Code.
  • Implementation - What approach will you use ( like workflow, flow, approval etc)
  • Integration - Connecting Salesforce to some other software.
  • Configuration - That does not require code. Point and click features.
Please mark the answer as solved if this resolves your query.

Hi Sinka,

In Salesforce, customization, implementation, integration, and configuration are all related to the process of setting up and using the platform. However, there are some key differences between these terms:
  • Customization refers to modifying Salesforce to fit specific business needs.
  • Implementation is the process of setting up Salesforce within an organization.
  • Integration involves connecting Salesforce with other systems or applications.
  • Configuration is adjusting Salesforce settings to meet specific business requirements.
