Yes I am happy to provide more detail. Essentially, I have a series of fields on the account and contact records that identify which Salesforce system users work on an account (the standard out-of-the-box Salesforce account teams do not meet my organizations needs). In designing processes using process builder, I would like the system to be able to read information from the custom user lookup fields i have build and assing tasks to that user accordingly. Do you have any insight as to how this might be possible? I have tried a variety of methods and have not yet been successful. Please let me know if you need additional information or clarification, and thanks for your help!

You have to use Flow and Process Buider both. Use Process Builder to invoke the Flow and inside the Flow you have to perform your logic based upon your business use case.
I would like to do follow up with you on this, can you please post few sceenshots and detail explaination.
Above is a sample screenshot of the custom user lookup fields I have built. I would ideally like the process builder to be able to direct a task to whichever user name is listed in one of those fields. I would also like the launch of subsequent tasks to be dependent on the completion of the previous task, which will need to be driven by the status selected from the picklist. Do you think this is possible? Thank you for your help!
I have attached two screenshots of where I am in the process so far. I'm not entirely sure if I have set up the task to read in the information correctly, but since it hasn not successfully launched a task I assume there is an error in what I am requesting the system to do. I would also like the completion of this first task to trigger a series of other tasks dependent on the completion of previous tasks, but am not quite sure how to accomplish that. Please let me know if you need additional details. Thanks!
Are you available at all this afternoon for a conversation or possibly tomorrow? Thanks!

I'm typically only in the office during 9-5 east coast time, could we set something up between those hours? Thanks!
