Email attachment converting to html without any content

While Senging an email attachment more than  3 MB it is being converted to html why?

Hi Amul,

First and foremost sincerely regret for delayed reply.

It's salesforce limitation because any attachment or a combination of attachments that exceeds 3MB will become an HTML link.
