How can I include coupon codes in automated emails?

Hi, I'd like to include a coupon code with my automated emails and I'm not sure how to set that up. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Darren,

Could you tell me the format of your coupon ? Is this a VF based attachment or a simple text code ?
What makes the difference between sent coupons ? Is it based on a field or random generated ?

If it's only a text code, you can add it to your email, but the value must be stored in the related object

We can help if you explain a bit more how is created your coupon.

If you like to send same coupon codes for all customers then store the coupon in the custom settings and then use the custom setting in your email template. Next time if you like to change the coupon code and send you can directly change the custom setting with new code and send an email to your customer.

If you are sending unique coupon codes for every customer, then store the coupon code in the custom field of that object, so that you can able to enter unique coupon code for every customer and use that custom field in your email templates to send an email to your customers.

If you want to include coupon codes in automated emails then create the coupon code you want to offer. Make sure to set an expiration date and any other restrictions or limitations you want to apply. https://www.couponbirds.com/
