Link Visualforce page

Hi everyone,
I created a visualforce and I would like to use it as my layout for the records in my object. I am not able to find anything helpful online.
How can I do this?

Then you need to go to that object>Buttons and Links>View  and select the visualforce page to override it.

Do you want to use it as an inline vf on standard detail pages?

I am not too sure what you mean by either of those. I just want to display the variable and content that is on the visual force page I created. Nothing less or more. Could you explain what those two option are?

Where do you want to show that page? is it on click of a button or you want to use it when you click on a record?

I want to show the page when I click on the record and all the record content would output on my visual force page. I hope that helps
