access to developer site to complete trailhead

I have just set up a developer account and have tried to log in but the first time I have treid the site comes up in French everytime and won't let me in.
I am trying to enter it via the following link: 
To easily log in later, save this URL:
https://login.salesforce.com/

everything is in French and then it asks me the incorrect security questions and has locked me out - have now asked for a password rest for the 3rd time.

Did you create a developer account through the Trailhead webpage or directly through your Salesforce account?

I followed the trailhead log in tutorial and did it via the link www.developer.salesforce.com/signup

in trying to reset my password everythign is still coming up in French - very bizarre!

That is very odd! I'd suggest checking your account preferences for languages and then maybe following the initial set up link again (as you can use any made up email as your log in and create a developer account) - hopefully that resolves the issue!

In the Trailhead link https://developer.salesforce.com/trailhead/en

Below the page there is an option to change the language.I suggest you to try over there.

What browser are you using? And does the same thing happen if you use a different browser?

Sandhya's screenshot above refers to the account preferences I referred to in my original reply and should sort the language issue out. Other than that I can only suggest learning French, which seems a bit overkill ;)
