My Requirement is by using record types, Can we restrict the fields in different page layouts.

For Example: Object Name : Employee
Record types: 1. Teaching
                        2. Non Teaching
For Teaching : Field : Name
                                   No
                                   Department
                                   Subjects 
For Non Teaching: Field : Name
                                          No

Shold be there. Can someone help me how to implement this using configuration ?
