A successful Salesforce Developer at Upward Health is a key player in delivering the next generation healthcare technology platform. Salesforce Health Cloud/Service Cloud is an integral part of our solution which makes this role critical to our success. In the role you will be responsible for key development and administration activities associated with enabling our care teams and partners with new and effective ways to help the teams drive positive outcomes for our patients.  You must be a creative problem solver who is also an excellent communicator.  Your job is not just to change the software to meet the needs of your users, your job is also to understand our business and ensure things make sense and get executed timely and understood by your users fully.

Job Functions:
Work with VP of Technology to plan platform roadmap, prioritize capabilities, and scope efforts.
Using Agile/Scrum methodology and Jira, define, develop and deploy incremental application capabilities based on the roadmap and interacting with the user community.
Maintain customizations and configuration changes in version-controlled environments/interfaces (e.g., GitHub, Sourcetree).
Provide application administration, production support, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
Work with Salesforce implementation partners to coordinate and share development activities.

Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer and Administrator in Salesforce Service Cloud and Force.com with the following:
Excellent understanding of Salesforce MVC Architecture and its components such as Model, View and Controller.
Strong experience integrating Salesforce CRM with other internal/external applications using SOAP and REST based web services.
Capable in developing client specific solutions using visual force pages with Lightning components, Apex classes, Apex Triggers, Controllers & Controller Extensions, Apex Components and Test Methods.
Experience in designing Custom Objects, Custom Fields, Customizing Page Layouts, Workflow Alerts, Pick Lists, Record Types, Process builder, Custom Tabs, Custom Buttons, Reports, Dashboards, and Email Generation according to application requirements.
Excellent in Administrative tasks like Creating Profiles, Roles, Users, Page Layouts, Permission Sets, Workflows, Approvals, and Activities.
Good understanding of Salesforce CRM governor limits with an ability to optimize code to respect those limits.
Excellent understanding with writing SOQL for specified applications.
Experience in Batch Apex and Schedule Apex Development.
Experience in Salesforce Lightning creating apps.
Experienced in Deployment using Force.com IDE, Change Sets, ANT Migration Tool.
Experience configuring and maintaining user Security Permissions in compliance with organizational needs.
Experience with web technologies including HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript.
Healthcare experience is preferred

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field is preferred.
