Hi everyone,

 

Do you know if we can use Chatter API from a Site User and Customer Portal user?

Basically we want to access custom object feeds, and insert post.

Hey guys,

 

I've created a custom VF page that allows case comment creation directly from a case page layout. Meaning: The input box for a new case comment is directly usable from the Case Page - no need to navigate windows.

 

However... As with most of the default SObjects that are convoluded and strange, it seems to have broken some other functionality...

 

Note that the "Notify Case Owner of New Case Comments" option is TRUE

 

The problem is this:

* When a user adds a case comment from the custom VF page who is NOT the case owner, the case owner does NOT recieve a new case comment notificaiton.

*When a user uses the old system (clicking new, then navigating to the default case comment page etc...) who is not the case owner, the case owner DOES receive notification...

 

I've gone up and down the schema trying to find some missing field that I need to set to make this happen, and it's not there!

 

What can I do?
