Folks,

has anyone up and running Outlook 2010 and the Salesforce Plugin?

Currently I check the new Office version. But the SF Plugin makes always stress.

Anyone here with experience or any hints?

Thx, olli

I've setup a support portal for my company, but am stuck on one thing.

Under App Setup, Self-Service, Self-Service Portal, and Settings, for the "Log a Case Page", when I try to save some changes it says:

Error:

This page layout name already exists or has been
previously used. Your changes were not saved.

The page that is created by default only has "submit" and "cancel"
buttons on it - nothing else. If you press submit, it creates an empty case!

The similar page, "View Cases Page", can be modified as expected and works fine.

If there is a page layout that already exists, how do you get rid of it or specify it? There should be a "Save As" button here...?
Or is this a Salesforce bug?

Thanks in advance!

I'm running the Outlook 2010 preview on a box, and at the moment it does not appear that the Outlook Connector for salesforce will run in it (most other Outlook plugins for 2007 that I've tried with Outlook 2010 do work fine).

I'm just curious if anyone else can confirm the same experience.  Are there ever beta's of new versions of the connector, or do we need to wait for release that has official support for Outlook 2010?
