I am looking for an experienced, self-employed Apex programmer in Leicester.  We are a fast-growing company, picking up clients quickly.

In the first instance, we need 2 weeks programming starting as soon as possible.  After that, we want to move to 2-3 days every week, perhaps rising to 5 days per week.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
Work with Project Manager to identify work and estimates for all aspects of client projects. Design and optimize business processes to integrate across disparate systems. Designs, implements, and tests salesforce.com application software using Salesforce.com platform technologies/programming languages to satisfy business requirements in a timely manner based on project schedule, with expected software quality Creates custom objects, custom fields, workflows, validation rules, etc. Migrates data between various Saleforce.com environments/organizations using appropriate tools Migrates data between various applications (SQL Server, Access, Excel, FileMakerPro, Lotus Notes) into Salesforce.com using appropriate tools Creates integration between various applications (SQL Server, Access, Excel, FileMakerPro, Lotus Notes) and Salesforce.com using appropriate tools. Completes other projects and duties as assigned.

Work Experience

 
Proficiency in SOAP-based web services, SQL, Apex, SOQL, XML, JavaScript Application development experience with Javascript, XML, HTTP, Java, J2EE, C++, ASP, or SQL Practical experience with ETL tools and/or Data Integration products such as Informatica, Cast Iron, etc. helpful but not required. Experience with Salesforce.com developer toolkit including Apex Classes, Controllers and Triggers, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Migration Tool, helpful but not required. Exposure to Salesforce.com configuration and custom development helpful but not required Experience with other CRM software (Siebel, Clarify, Vantive, Peoplesoft, NetSuite, etc.) Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools Strong presentation and communication skills Demonstrated deployments of enterprise software systems using industry standard environments including XML, HTTP/HTTPS, Java, C++, and ASP. 1 or more years of experience managing external client projects in positions of increasing responsibility in the delivery of business consulting, systems development, and systems. Work experience with a professional consulting organization (e.g., Big 5 consulting) a plus.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from a 4-Year University (Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Liberal Arts or equivalent work experience preferred).
