I thougt that the steps to code would be

1)Create a record in ContentDocument and ContentDocumentVersion record

2)Create a record ContentDocumentlink with ContentDocumentId as the Id from Step 1 and the LinkedEntityId as the Id of the custom object instance we want to link the content to .

In order to verify that the above need to be done while adding content to custom object programmatically ,  I attached content for a custom object using "Related Content" related list .

However , I found there was no linkage between the object Id and the ContentDocument Id in ContentDocumentlink  table.  Hence the step 2 above may not be correct .

Which table maintains the relationship between an Custom Object and a CRM Content ?

Statement -

The sharing rule for the Employment Website object is necessary to let hiring managers postjobs, even though they will never be updating employment website records directly (the org-widedefaults will prevent that).

Ques - Isnt Sharing rule supposed to override the Org Wide default . If so , why doesnt the Hiring Manager get the write permission on Employment Wesite when we are creating a sharing rule for giving it Read/Write on Employment Website

I can't install our package into our test org. Does anyone know how to handle this? I'd like to be able to fix it without wrangling too much with Support...

I have tried installing the package several times yesterday and today - and I have tried to isolate the problem within the objects. I know what object is causing the problem, but not what to do. The object has installed with no problem as a different version. (From the discussion boards, it looks like there is a known issue with installing apps in an org where they were installed (and removed) before - but no one says how to fix it in the org without Support.)

The error message I get is: "Your requested install failed. Please try this again. None of the data or setup information in your Salesforce organization should have been affected by this error. If this error persists, contact Support through your normal channels and reference number: 1525493615-16962 (717204977)"

I filed a customer support case: #02400539.
