Id like to create a dashboard that can be viewed from any opportunity

so id like to filter the dashbaord the way you do a report:

 - link to report

 - have first criteria blank

 - supply pv0 in url

but for a DASHBOARD

can this be done?

weve got a product category table that holds some descriptive data and there are some formula fields that pull in that data. but when we select those fields using the search feature of the product selection page, we encounter an internal server error. this looks to be something with winter 13 as our sandbox is still at summer 12 and does not have this issue.

I'm trying to copy a new user as contact by using a trigger but I'm getting the following error
