I want to integrate chat in my website. I tried live agent & snap-in. It's working. But, both are not persistent in mutiple tabs. Whenever i open a new tab, in that page new chat session will start. User session is not maintaining in mutiple  tabs. Live agent is not working after refresh. Live agent will start new chat after refresh also.
I am looking for in page chat, not popup window chat. Any one is using salesforce chat without any issue?

Use Case: The Live Agent code is hosted in a specific page of the website. The visitor/user initiates the chat and in between the user goes/navigates to other page or refreshes the page, all the chat data is lost. The chat window shows "Start Chat" button. Is there a way to retain the data in the same chat session? If yes, how? 

I have gone through the Live Agent Dev Guide and did not find any answer to the same.

I have question on Visualforce page embeded in detail page. My content on the VF page is dynamic, so I can't have a fixed height of the frame. What is the proper way to implement auto resize the iframe for VF? It would be great if someone here can point me to the right direction. Thanks.
