When SelectList Is Changing Then Some Block Is Getting Rendered. But If I have Some Js To save Unsaved Data While Changing SelectList. But If there is Any erre i want to  fetch the old select list value how to get that

The challenge is to search for the inserted record with an inline SOSL search, using Execute Anonymous.

This is what I did using Execute Anonymous Window

But still there's an error when I check the challenge.

Now Its required of me to :
Add a button to the campingListItem component that when clicked, marks the item as packed.
1.Add a button labeled "Packed!" that calls the packItem controller function when clicked.
2.The controller action marks the item attribute as packed and disables the button.

I have done with the first point
I'm struggling with the second point.

the controller code looks something like this (which currently isnt working)

Hi, I'm creating a new VF page, it queries some records based on user inputs.  Then it searches for those records and displays the results.  It would be really nice if there was a "New" button in this page where if the user couldn't find the item they were looking for they could create it.  I guess it wouldn't technically be a New Record button as much as it would take them to a new record creation screen.  Anyone know how to do this?  I can't find anything.
