The Solutions Architect & Developer (SA&D) is a core member of the Technology & Innovation team and serves as an ongoing key contributor to critical University initiatives. Working in a collaborative environment, the SA&D uses his/her technical expertise and professional skills to design, develop, and iterate innovative technology solutions for the University’s next-generation digital learning environment. 
  
In collaboration with the Solutions Architect & Web Director, the SA&D works with functional University business as well as academic areas to interpret processes, determine proper data needs, and ultimately architect solutions. The SA&D leads and participates in all aspects of design and development of data structures and associated administrative workflow and analytics resources. These structures are used for external reporting and internal analytics supporting strategic University initiatives and involved departments/offices. The SA&D also serves a mentoring role to facilitate increased knowledge and skill development among existing staff. 
  
The SA&D co-administers the Salesforce environment ensuring users have access and training and will also assist in maintaining the customization of work on various Salesforce projects including logical and physical modeling of data, process modeling, large-scale data integrations, dashboards, object management, page layouts, profiles, roles, permission sets, reports, data integrity, troubleshooting, and end-user support and training.
