I'm not a developer, I am a novice point and click admin.

I recently created a successful process using process builder and I am looking to add an enhancement to trigger a process when a specific event is created on an Opportunity.

I couldn't work it out so I opened a webchat to ask if it is possible and it became escalated to a support case whom advised this would be achievable by creating a custom trigger but they could not advise on development and suggested I post the question here.

Please can anyone give me advice on this?
