Greetings,

The developers at Solutionstap have begun work on both PHP and Python versions of a sForce API abstraction layers. Current support is for XML-RPC, and unlike some other alternatives there will be cookie, compression, HTTP header addition and UNICODE support along with other features. Our first release will be in the coming days, and both libraries will be released under the BSD Open Source license.

For further information on Solutionstap visit http://www.solutionstap.com/, we have already implemented an open source based SF integration solution for a client (www.ltp.com).

I'm looking for a way to authenticate my self-service portal users (trouble-ticket area) without them actually logging into the self service site.  Does the login call published in the API work for these users?

Hi there,

We would like to run a local copy of the database to extend our report capabilities. Does Salesforce support any means of data replication?

We have MS SQL Server running locally. We would like to replicate the data to this server.

Thank you in advance.
