Hi,

We display our web application within a salesforce window using WIL and with Internet Explorer 6 when using our application (within salesforce window), the session between our application and the browser gets lost.  If we log into our web application and hence establish a session with the browser and then we log into salesforce and display our application within salesforce then we don't have any problems.  However, if we log into salesforce and bring up our application within salesforce window and the log into our application establish a session with the browser (IFRAME) then the session gets lost while the user interacts with our application. This problem doesn't occur with IE 5.0 or 5.5 and Mozilla browsers.

Have others experienced this problem?  Is this a problem with IFRAME implemention in IE 6?  Is there any solution to this?

Hi,

Are there any plans for Salesforce/Sforce API to support transaction coordination with a partner (user of Sforce API) through standards such as OASIS Business Transaction Protocol, or other standards such as Business Process Execution Language for Web Services (BPEL4WS) and WS-Coordination and WS-Transaction?  If transaction level support is not in the plans, how about support for reliable messaging following the model of Reliable Messaging in RosettaNet (PIP) or through such scheme as ebXML 2.0 Reliable Messaging Scheme or more recent standards such as WS-Reliability or WS-ReliableMessaging?

Hello,

Are there any plans for Salesforce.com and Sforce API to support standard based Single Sign On for users who are users in Salesforce.com and at a partner site?  By this I mean support for external identity server as specfied in Liberty Alliance Project/SAML (or even Microsoft Passport)?
