Job Description:

Work closely with sales team to identify, qualify and close opportunities for DreamFactory products and services.

Act as primary technical resource, working in conjunction with our sales team as the key technical expert and product advocate for our products. Clearly articulate the technical advantages of our products across a range of on-demand platforms, including Salesforce.com, Amazon Web Services, Cisco/WebEx Connect and others. Develop and maintain relationships with prospects and customers to allow you to qualify customer need, achieve technical wins and close strategic customers.

Less than 10% travel – we do most of our work remotely (phone and WebEx).

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Sales Engineer, candidate will

• Interact with prospects and customers to understand their needs and craft a product/services solution that meets those needs
• Craft standard and custom scenarios to demonstrate DreamFactory solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements
• Work with sales to ensure customers acquire the right solutions for their business
• Grow territory/account revenue to meet and exceed revenue goals
• Lead the development of technical account strategies for long term growth and success in large customers
• Work with Product Marketing to leverage customer and product feedback into enhanced products that better meet the needs of our best customers.

Qualifications:

• Ability to interact with prospects and customers to understand their needs and craft a product/services solution that meets those needs
• Self-motivated individual, with a proven track record in on-demand software sales and knowledge of technology.
• Comfortable in a dynamic, technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base, selling a diverse suite of products on multiple platforms.
• Outstanding presentation skills and able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails and RFPs.
• Organized and analytical, able to manage stress well and juggle multiple balls at once.
• Strong desire to win and to continually develop your personal and professional skills.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce.com and/or SugarCRM is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with relational databases and database applications a plus.
• 5+ years relevant experience in on-demand software sales
• A B.S. in Computer Science or a related field is strongly preferred

Candidates will work with a world-class team building “on demand” custom applications.

• Become proficient with DreamFactory applications as you design and build sophisticated solutions.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity design and construction of rich interactive Web applications and a demonstrable history of successful projects in this area.
• Knowledge of XML Web Services and Service Oriented Architectures, and familiarity with API interaction.
• Understanding of database applications and client/server application architectures.
• Customer support or customer interaction experience.
• Familiarity with browser and Web technologies such as AJAX and Flash, as well as scripting environments such as JavaScript and VBScript is desirable.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce.com and/or SugarCRM is desirable.
• 3+ years relevant industry experience.
• A B.S. in Computer Science or a related field is strongly preferred.

• Become DreamFactory application experts, pushing the envelope on product capabilities as you design and build sophisticated solutions.
• Use your database knowledge to clearly understand the customer’s data model and entity relationships.
• Report feedback and request upgrades/features/changes to DreamFactory applications.
• Train customers on the use of our products and the custom solutions we build for them.
• Mentor/lead associate ProServ developers as they learn our products and become productive building custom solutions for our customers.

Qualifications:

• Excellent understanding of the design and construction of rich interactive Web applications and a demonstrable history of successful projects in this area.
