The functionality of the software is not an issue ...but why when i try to mailmerge the end result is solid line instead of data that i am suppose to have. if mmerge from the opportunity page , no problem. But if i mmerge from quote tab....getting garbage from where field result are .
1-office plugin is install 2-see the quote and quote line merge field within word. 3-office 2007 4-redone template , done the whole nine yard ..(well i think) 5-do not want to use the printanything apex...
For a software that calls itself SALESforce, salesforce has the most counter-intuitive way of thinking about sales. For example, I want to move a lot of sales data into the system using excel connector. As far as I have figured it out, first I need to create a new opportunity and capture the opportunity id, and then I somehow have to attach the products sold to the opportunity. BUT HOW???
I am desperately searching for a formula which sets the "type" of an account automatically to "customer", if there is a WON/CLOSED opportunity under it.
Second, is there a possibilty to mark those "Customers"? Maybe show it coloured in the account list?
