We need to establish maintenance windows therefore we are attempting to see peak/valley usage times; e.g. WHEN pages are hit, not how many times. We get usage reports. However, those user statistics are not geared towards time.

Any tips or leads?

May I please have advice on loading baseline data? Any tricks, gotcha's, land mines?

We need to build a script to insert a baseline set of data so the Developer Sandboxes can be of some value.

Thanks in advance for input.

We need to write a script insert a "slim baseline" set of data so that the developer Sandboxes are at least of some value without forcing the dev staff to go through the massive pain and waste of manually inserting records for each create/refresh.

Where can we get an ERD for the SalesForce data tables?

Are Developer Sandboxes also subject to the 28 (29 or 30?) day refresh restriction?

Is it possible to lock down a developer's sandbox - i.e. make a single person the admin of the developer's Sandbox and lock everyone else out?

Tried to follow the trouble shooting instructions: However no luck.

This has taken about 4 hours now.

Any help would be appreciated.

I could have just paid money to Micro$oft to have this much trouble. The SalesForce experience hasn't been that great yet!
