We are looking for a CRM Systems Specialist with 2 – 5 years experience in developing and maintaining business solutions in the cloud. Specific applications include Salesforce.com and the force.com platform, integrated Salesforce applications (Apttus, Xactly, Exact Target, and more), Service-now.com, and others. This individual will be responsible for working with cross-functional project teams to channel their knowledge of EnerNOC’s business processes into Salesforce automation and other application improvements that drive consistency and scalability.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid Salesforce development toolkit, and a technical prowess that will bring the theoretical to fruition. This candidate will confidently apply these skills to targeted process improvement projects, technology advancements, and new product integration. The successful candidate will:

  • Solve problems – Working with internal employees to troubleshoot problems with Salesforce and other applications
  • Integrate Salesforce enhancements – Researching, designing and developing Salesforce applications to improve our workflows
  • Roll out changes – Overseeing change management processes and enhancement requests
  • Think at a system-level – Understanding workflows and how small changes might impact the overall system
  • Manage expansion – Collecting requirements, prioritizing projects, and building out our applications to support new business offerings and the integration of existing offerings into our operations
  • Apply thoughtful analysis – Performing in-depth analysis to help guide our application portfolio and other business initiatives
  • Train users - Providing instructor led training for internal employees to efficiently use our cloud based applications

Required Qualifications/Skills/Education:

  • 2-5 years professional experience developing Salesforce applications
  • BA/BS in computer systems or equivalent
  • Solid understanding of web technologies such as Web Services, REST, XML, and JavaScript
  • Proficiency in relational database concepts and SQL
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Initiative, resourcefulness and the ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible team environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Salesforce.com administrator certification
  • Familiarity with Apex programming language
  • Knowledge of VisualForce markup language
  • Professional experience with a variety of cloud-based applications beyond Salesforce.com
  • Understanding of software development and IT General Controls
