Hi Team,

I am working on eclipse kepler with force.com ide 29 version, when I am trying to force.com->save to server it doesn't shows any error but it is not getting saved in server.
After 5 to 6 attempt save to server is working fine.
I have check build automatically and work offline method troubleshooting but no solutions and internet connection is working fine.

Recently while deploying a service cloud for a customer, there came up a requirement that customer would like to know time spent on every case by their service agents including time spent on attachments and mails related to the case. We used mix of apex classes / javascript / web services to capture the time spent by combination of an external timer and by picking up the id (last 15 digits) from URL of the record on which user is. Currently stuck on how do we get the time spent on emails and attachments as the URL in the end doesn't have the parent case ID. Any suggestions would really be helpful. Thanks

Hi,

Is there any mechanism in SFDC, by which records/fields are made editable/read-only based on certain criteria. Example, the record will only be read-only if the "Status" field has values as "Terminated" but otherwise read-only.

Thanks,

Vimal

Hi,

My Customer deals with Insurance Business.

There is a unit call PAM which manages work of some Agents. However, he should only have access to some of the records owned by Agents. Example only 20 of 100 records owned by agent. Can anyone give me some insights as to how can I try to fulfil this requirement?

Is Sharing Rules the only way out or is their any other elegant solution?

Thanks,

Vimal

Looking for the ability to update up to around 10,000 to 15,000 fields at a time.  Will this be possible via the excel connector?
