Job Description

The Senior Developer is expected to have strong experience in software development, including, but not limited to, Salesforce technologies such as Visualforce and Apex.

Responsibilities

  : Design and develop new applications, and/or enhancements to existing applications.

  : Integrate Salesforce.com with other vendor or client home grown applications.

  : Assist in creation of technical design and functional specifications.

  : Provide effort estimates for assigned modules.

  : Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in addressing the issues.

  : Support application code deployment from Test to Production environment.

  : Work in a team environment blended with onshore and offshore developers.

  : Work closely with the client team for knowledge transfer and education.

Knowledge & Experience

  : Salesforce/Force.com custom development using Visualforce and Apex

  : Broader programming technologies such as HTML, XML, JSON, JQuery, SOAP, AJAX, Javascript (including modern Javascript libraries), Adobe Flex, Java, JSP, PHP, .NET, SQL

  : Knowledge of different database platforms such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Sybase

  : Strong communication skills

  : Strong analytical skills with ability to learn quickly

Qualifications

  : 5 years direct experience in software development and/or programming design and systems management

  : 2 years of force.com development experience

  : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or closely related field or equivalent experience

  : Salesforce Certification a plus.

Job Description

Lead all technical aspects involved in delivering Salesforce projects – primarily custom code development (Visualforce and Apex) but also any other related technical items (such as data and external application integration). The Technical Lead is expected to have extensive experience in software development, including, but not limited to, Salesforce technologies such as Visualforce and Apex. The Technical Lead will be responsible for the detailed design of technical solutions, and will document the technical design and manage developers throughout the development, testing and support phases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and/or contribute to all technical aspects of projects.
  • Manage the development and deployment of new applications, and/or enhancements to existing applications.
  • Gather system requirements, conduct analysis, coordinate the design of solutions and establish metrics for success.
  • Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
  • Provide detail design and documentation of each component of the solution such as data migration, integration and custom development.
  • Manage and provide direction for the onshore & offshore teams in support of development activities.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality, timely, and thorough solutions to customer problems.
  • Determine the scope and corresponding effort estimates for all development.
  • Work closely with business partners to realize the full capabilities of Salesforce.
  • Create and maintain development and integration plans
