I am STUCK on this Trailhead module.   Setting up external social sign on...

I'm able to sign on with Google credentials but nothing past that, I am not asked to allow Salesforce app and I never see the Google icon I placed on the external login page.

I've worked on this for a couple of days now, read old forum posts and triple checked everything. It all looks correct.  What can I be missing?

1) I used use Module3RegistrationHandler.cls as registration handler.
2) I selected Google as login capability for Partners ( cf screenshot below)
However, the challenge fails with the following message :
Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:  Could not find a login to your community using Google.
Anybody can help ?
