Rich text area on Salesforce1 has different behavior compared to mobile browser while editing a record

Hi All,

Rich text area on salesforce1 doesn't function the same way as in mobile browser (chrome mobile view). Need help on this. Please refer to the image below.

Enabling rich text field in android OS

Has anyone faced issue enabling rich text fields in android? In iOS the field can be edited, user can attach pictures etc . Any pointers to resolving this issue please ... Thanks
