Hello All
I am trying the exercise "Implementing Global Actions with Visualforce Pages" in the trailhead module module.
The exercise mentioned "Your users have asked for a quick way to share information about themselves with their clients from their mobile phone. Create a global action in Salesforce1 to display information similar to a user's business card (first and last name, email, phone, and title).
The global action must be labeled 'My Business Card'.
The global action must reference a Visualforce page named 'BusinessCard'.
.................................."

I have created the global action and named with the label correctly as "My Business Card".  However, I am now getting an error as below
"Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
The 'My Business Card' global action wasn't found."

We cannot create an action with the name having spaces as in "My Business Card".

What am I doing incorrectly.  Please suggest.
Thanks

Hi All
I have installed the app from Appexchange as suggested and did all the changes required.
I am getting this error despite choosing the right field for the wedges "Challenge not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
The 'LEAD Trend by Source' dashboard component does not have the wedges set to 'Lead Source'."
Can someone please check / suggest.
Thanks

Hello everyone I could use some help on the using future Methods trailhead. Please keep in mind I am not an Apex coder at all but I am trying to learn as much as I can.

Here is the Task

Create an Apex class with a method using the @future annotation that accepts a List of Account IDs and updates a custom field on the Account object with the number of contacts associated to the Account. Write unit tests that achieve 100% code coverage for the class.
Create a field on the Account object called 'Number_of_Contacts__c' of type Number. This field will hold the total number of Contacts for the Account.
Create an Apex class called 'AccountProcessor' that contains a 'countContacts' method that accepts a List of Account IDs. This method must use the @future annotation.
For each Account ID passed to the method, count the number of Contact records associated to it and update the 'Number_of_Contacts__c' field with this value.
Create an Apex test class called 'AccountProcessorTest'.
The unit tests must cover all lines of code included in the AccountProcessor class, resulting in 100% code coverage.
Run your test class at least once (via 'Run All' tests the Developer Console) before attempting to verify this challenge.

I have written an Apex class and a Test class but I think I am doing them both Wrong: because when I try to check the challenge i Get this error

Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
The 'AccountProcessorTest' test class doesn't appear to be calling the 'AccountProcessor.countContacts' method between Test.startTest() and Test.stopTest().

When I run the Test class I get this error :

System.QueryException: List has no rows for assignment to SObject

Here is the CLASS:

public class AccountProcessor {
     @future

  public static void someFutureMethod(List<id> scope) {

   Account[] updates = new Account[] {};
        for (AggregateResult ar : [
                select AccountId a, count(Id) c
                from Contact
                where AccountId in :scope
                group by AccountId
                ]) {
            updates.add(new Account(
                    Id = (Id) ar.get('a'),
                    Number_of_Contacts__c = (Decimal) ar.get('c')
                    ));
        }
        update updates;
    }

}

Here is the Test Class:

@IsTest
public class AccountProcessorTest {
  public static testmethod void TestAccountProcessorTest() {

Test.startTest();
     Account a = new Account();
        a.Name = 'Test Account';
        Insert a;

      Contact cont = New Contact();

      cont.FirstName ='Bob';
      cont.LastName ='Masters';
      cont.AccountId = a.Id;
      Insert cont;

    Test.stopTest() ;
     Contact ACC = [select AccountId from Contact where id = :a.id LIMIT 1];

        System.assert(Cont.AccountId != null);
        System.assertequals(cont.id, ACC.AccountId);

  }}

I have used alot or diffrent google searches to get me this far. But I have not Idea if Im even remotly close to the right answer or not.

Hi,

I have written the below classes as part of the trailhead challenge for Apex REST callouts.

The class -

public class AnimalLocator {

  public static String getAnimalNameById(Integer id) {

    Http http = new Http();
    HttpRequest request = new HttpRequest();
    request.setEndpoint('https://th-apex-http-callout.herokuapp.com/animals/'+id);
    request.setMethod('GET');

    HttpResponse response = http.send(request);
    List<Object> animals;
    String returnValue;

    // parse the JSON response
    if (response.getStatusCode() == 200) {
      Map<String, Object> result = (Map<String, Object>) JSON.deserializeUntyped(response.getBody());
      animals = (List<Object>) result.get('animals');
      System.debug(animals);
    }

    if (animals.size() > 0 && animals != NULL && id < animals.size()) {
      returnValue = (String) animals.get(id);
    }

    return returnValue;
  }

}

Mock Response Class -

@isTest
global class AnimalLocatorMock implements HttpCalloutMock {
     // Implement this interface method
    global HTTPResponse respond(HTTPRequest request) {
        // Create a fake response
        HttpResponse response = new HttpResponse();
        response.setHeader('Content-Type', 'application/json');
        response.setBody('{"animals": ["majestic badger", "fluffy bunny", "scary bear", "chicken", "mighty moose"]}');
        response.setStatusCode(200);
        return response;
    }
}

Test Class -

@isTest
private class AnimalLocatorTest{
    @isTest static void AnimalLocatorMock1() {
        Test.setMock(HttpCalloutMock.class, new AnimalLocatorMock());
        string result = AnimalLocator.getAnimalNameById(3);
        String expectedResult = 'chicken';
        System.assertEquals(result,expectedResult );
    }
}

I have got 100% code coverage for the main class. But when I check the challenge I get

Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
There was an unexpected error in your org which is preventing this assessment check from completing: System.NullPointerException: Attempt to de-reference a null object

Please tell me if any changes to the code is required. It's really frustrating as I am stuck from past 3-4 days with this unit.

Thanks & Regards,

Abhiram Sheshadri

I have build a bunch of reports and are using the graphs. These reports consist of campaign data, and I need to create the graphs so that the leads are blue in color, and the contacts are green in color. These are separate reports. I can't figure out how to change the graphs from one color to the next?... Anyone?
