I have a requirement where I need to dispaly  custom global search (as there in  salesforce  standard global search) 
on Visualforce page .It needs to work like stnadarard one.

My requirement is 
I have site  we have two users 1.employee 2.business owner

when employee login first time in to the site should dispaly one poup box with employee related one input fields like 
dob field he filled adnd submit the popup 
and second time login it should display same popup but different  one inputfields like qulification inputfield


Here how we  can catch the how many times user login and logout 

and here we need to display per login one  inputfield

 


please help its very urgent
