All examples that I have seen so far show how to add a custom button/action on Leads List View. I am looking for a way to launch a flow from a custom buttom/action from Account List View.

The Flow is to create account and related contact records and it needs to happen only through a flow, as the customer wants point and click customization.



So far, I have only been able to launch the flow from within a record- by adding the action on the account page layout. However, my requirement is to launch the flow from the Account List View itself and not requiring the user to first have to select any other record. I have also tried creating a VF page to launch the flow from.


The issue that I am running into is

1- I do NOT see 'List View' as an option when I navigate to 'Search Layouts' on the Account Object and the 'Default Layout' does not have the custom button that I created



Default Layout- supports only buttons that create or update a record



2- I do see 'List View' listed when I navigate TO 'Search Layouts for Salesforce Classic' on the Account Object, however, the button to launch flow still does not show up under custom buttons and the only buttons that show up are related to either creating/updating a record. Also, I am sure if seeing the button to launch a flow under Search Layouts for Salesforce Classic would do me any good as I am working in Lightning




Direction on how to proceed ahead is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

While clicking on button called Visualforce page.

Hi, I am having troubles with following instrtuctions on 'Create a Macro and Quick Text' module. After creating a mactros and "Edit Instructions" it is not possible to select any area in the convas other than 'case details'.

I am using a fresh trailhead playground and assuming that I did miss some pre-requisite to enable all the areas.

Please advice

I hate to start over. The dashboard is built and functional.

Ideas other than a new DE and start from the beginning?
 

For life of me I can't figure out what this exercise is asking to do.  I was able to modify other reports but this particualr R&D report, Temperature to kWh Research, I'm not able to do.  Error is keep saying, "We can’t find the additional analysis by model being performed on the 'Temperature to kWh Research' report. Remember that you can organize data horizontally and vertically at the same time."




 

I've been working on this superbadge, near the end I got to this part:

Ada also tells you that the SolarBot Status Averages report needs some tweaks. First, the Support team wants to see trends over time, so they want the report to show data by week instead of by day. Second, they want a graph for this report called Weekly Panel Temperature and kWh that shows average panel temperature and average kilowatt hours as lines over time. Third, they want to see this graph on each SolarBot record page. Create the page and call it SolarBot Status Page With Chart. Include only information about the individual SolarBot in the chart.


What kind of page should I go for? I created a Lightning Record Page, a page layout, and it is not detecting any kind of page

A Volunteer Shift Worker record created for another user is not in their approval queue, or it does not have the correct status automatically assigned.

Anyone passed this step?

How to view Visualforce Pages through WebView (native Android using Mobile SDK)?

We are building a native Android app using Salesforce's Android SDK.
To be able to reuse all of our custom features we've added a WebView that directs to our Salesforce Org through the browser, which works like a charm on default SF layouts but on every Visualforce Page we get the error message "You can't view this page, either because you don't have permission or because the page isn't supported on mobile devices". Our users can access the Visualforce pages through any browser but not through Android app.

Things that we have already tried:

• "Provide access to custom applications (visualforce)" is already selected on Connected App's "Selected OAuth Scopes" field;
• All profiles are selected on visualforce page's security;
• "Available for Lightning Experience, Salesforce1, and Lightning Communities" is checked on every Visualforce Page we've tried;

Why this is happening?
Is there any other configuration I need to check on Admin or Code side?

According to the requirement of Project  I have created Lense named worldwide_sales_with_flags. But still I am getting the error:

If I run a flow from within Salesforce using a button, it will display in a lightning skin. However, if I launch that flow via a Visualforce page, it displays with the classic skin. Is there any code I can add to the Visualforce page to make it display in with the lightning skin?
