Picklist in Opportunities Screen - Help Required

Hi All

We want to create a custom picklist on Opportunities Add/Edit screen. The pick list will list all teh contacts (from the contact screen). Upon selecting a contact from the picklist, we want the opportunities screen display a value of a custom field created on the contacts screen for that contact on the opportunities screen.

For example Contact John Smith is a Runner and Wrestler.

When i select John Smith from the Opportunities screen, i would like to see Runner and Wrestler listed on that screen somewhere.

I am sure this is possible and hope to recv some help on this.

Job Description:

To be a key advocate / evangelist of Salesforce.com, ensuring 100% adoption rates across COLT’s direct and indirect sales / sales support teams and alignment of Salesforce.com with COLT’s business processes

Responsibilities:

•           Regular communication with the Salesforce Business Owner, Steering Committee and other Key Stakeholders to ensure functionality meets needs and facilitate with the development of the ongoing project plan

•           Work with Business Owner to co-ordinate release plans

•           Support Marketing’s use of Salesforce, including assisting with mailing list generation/clean up as needed and helping automate processes relating to campaigns

•           Develop ad hoc reports as requested by user groups or stakeholders

•           Maintain and communicate system metrics to track trends in usage and data integrity

•           Manage new user set ups and deactivation, including transferring ownership of accounts/contacts/opportunities for deactivated users

•           Execute minor configuration changes within the boundaries of the change control/governance process

•           Evaluate new Salesforce releases, providing analysis and recommendations to Business Owner

 

The Candidate:

•           Must have successfully completed Salesforce.com Administrator & Reporting courses

•           Salesforce.com administration experience

•           Working in Sales Ops ideally within a Telco environment

•           General knowledge of Web applications and Internet architecture, e.g. SaaS

We urgently require Salesforce.com consultant with architectural expertise, specifically with a background in security and user access for our direct client.
 
Job Detail :
 
The resource will analyze the current environment and business requirements  and make a specification plan to meet these requirements.
In particular  need to upgrade  role hierarchies and sharing models and we believe that will be the focus of this engagement.
 
 Profile required:

1. Around 10 - 12 years of over all IT experience, with at least  2.5 - 3 years on SFDC
2. Strong technology background and deep technical experience / expertise on SFDC
3. Expereince in SFDC project implementation - should have expertise on User Management
4. Prior exposure to Consulting assignments would be a big plus

London, UK Salesforce Trainer wanted

We are looking to employ a freelance on-site SFDC trainer for a 3-month period. We are based in Kensington Village business park, West Kensington, London. We operate a network of job boards including planetrecruit.com, workthing.com and totallyfinancial.com and are rolling out a customised SFDC service as part of a new ERP solution. A sales floor of over 50+ executives will need training in general SFDC functionality as well as pipeline and quotation management. Training requirements to be discussed but one-on-one and 'walking-the-floor' will be integral elements of the training programme. There would be an opportunity to learn the BigMachines Product Configurator - a SFDC plug-in. Free on-site gym.
