My client is a profitable, well run, family-owned business specializing in providing tools, equipment and services to the heavy manufacturing and construction industry throughout the U.S as well internationally. They are the leader in their field and continue to grow, innovate and prosper.

In keeping with this growth, their sales and business development team is in the process of implementing technology from SalesForce.com

They are in need of a Senior Salesforce.com Administrator for their Headquarters in Northern New Jersey.

This person will assist with the implementation and long term support of their new CRM System. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Administration of Salesforce.com. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential to this position as you will be interacting directly with our Sales and Marketing teams. They are seeking a team player, and the ability to remain flexible and adaptable is a must.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct involvement with the rollout of a new CRM System
  • Usage of Data Loader/Demand tools/Excel Connector etc.
  • Best Practices in regards to usage/customization of the standard objects (Lead, Contact, Account, Opportunities, Campaigns)
  • User Adoption and User Training
  • Creation and maintenance of Reports , Dashboards, Validation Rules, Workflow Rules
  • Direct involvement in the implementation and long term success of our CRM System

 

 

Required Skills:

  • 5-10  years Salesforce.com Experience
  • Extensive experience customizing objects, writing workflow/validation rules
  • Extensive experience creating reports/dashboards/sales pipelining
  • Understanding and developing sales forecasts and metrics
  • Deep Knowledge of Salesforce.com security (roles, profiles, role hierarchy, sharing rules)
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Outstanding analytical, business process development skills and problem solving skills.
  • Real self starter---ability to thrive in a high velocity environment
  • Ability to travel approx 25%

 

Desirable Attributes and Skills

 

  • Background in dealing with a sales team made up of independent contractors (1099’s)
  • Experience in either the heavy manufacturing or heavy construction industries
