Am planning on a basic integration between filemaker pro and salesforce, such that:
Users of filemaker have access, in a dropdown list, to a dynamic list of salesforce accounts where account type = client
Users of filemaker have access, in a dropdown list, to a dynamic list of salesforce contacts where contact type = user
I have customised salesforce out of the box for the last three years, but have no experience in actual code development.
Can anybody advise the basic features thaty I would need to use on the salesforce side?
I have created a Cross object Custom formula field that displays the Address .Here is the format to display the address field.
Account.BillingStreet & BR() &
Account.BillingCity & ", "
& Account.BillingState & " " &
Account.BillingPostalCode & BR()
Now my question is there is a Comma in the formula and it displays, when the BillingStreet,BillingCity,etc., fields are empty.
How to resolve this?

Can anyone please advise on how to disable triggers in production env so that I can carry out other mass updates in Account using Apex Data loader tool.
