I’m trying to override a “New” button (creates new custom object), and pre-populate one of the fields based on the existing value in Opportunity.  I’m not sure what value should I capture from the query string in order to get new object Id.

I’m trying to transfer field values from Opportunities page to custom object using s-control.  I got the s-control part figured out, but how can I trigger it when a user enters new value into a field or updates it???  I would like to avoid using custom button….

I’m planning on using “Outbound Massaging” when an account approval event occurs in SF.  In the Apex_Api documentation it says that the message will be dropped after 24 hours of inability to communicate with the endpoint.   Does anyone have an Idea how to prevent the los of the message in such a situation?  Can anyone think of redundancy solution in this particular situation…
