Has anyone gotten the Excel Connector (https://code.google.com/p/excel-connector/) to work in Excel 2016? 

Has there been an Excel Connector or something equivalent built that is compatible with a Mac?  I have Office for my Mac, and basically would just like to refresh a Salesforce report from excel without having to log into Salesforce each time and pull the reports.

I really new at this and need some help.

 

We have Salesforce Group Edition and running Excel 2010.

 

I got the SForce Excel add in working and when I try to connect to Salesforce using for example the "Describe Sforce Object" i get the following error message;

 

"API is not enabled for this Organisation or Partner - Error code: 5069"

 

I am trying to login with my userid and password/security token.  I reset my token to make sure I was using the right one.

 

So, it would see I need to enable an API but I don't have a clue how to do that.

 

Anyone able to direct a poor lost soul?

Can you access the salesforce.com plug from VBA Macros? If so, what are the subroutine/function names in the project and what are their parameters...

I would like (from a macro):

1) Login to sfdc
2) Refresh ALL reports (or even use Refresh Selected Reports and select the reports by name)
