If I have a managed package installed and I then add Custom Fields, Record type, etc to one of the managed package Custom Objects, I then receive a push upgrade of the managed package, I would like to know what happens to what I created after upgrading package? Can I trust to create on the objects of the managed package or is it better to work out?

I'm working on the Trailhead "Build a Community with Knowledge and Chat" because I really want to learn how to use the Chat Snap ins for communitites. I'm getting stuck on the "Create a Chat Snap-in" section. It says to go to the Visualforce pages and copy just the beginning of the address which is https://c.na35.visual.force.com/apex/CommunitiesTemplate. So I am copying  https://c.na35.visual.force.com. Then it says to create a new CORS with this copied address. However, when I copy this into the new CORS original URL pattern then it will not save. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I can't move forward without this step and I really want to learn how to do this. Thank you!
I created the flow & custom button, and they both work. But Trailhead API isn't registering it. I've re-done the whole project twice in fresh dev orgs and still no luck. Any ideas? I cut & paste all entries to ensure no typos.

I've tried a second time using a brand new Trailhead Playground, and still get the error when checking the challenge:

There was an unexpected error while verifying this challenge. Usually this is due to some pre-existing configuration or code in the challenge Org. We recommend using a new Developer Edition (DE) to check this challenge. If you're using a new DE and seeing this error, please post to the developer forums and reference error id: VRHJDGJD "

The 'Battle Station Supplies' report was not the correct report type. It needs to be using the type 'Battle Station with Supplies'.

I did chose the correct report type - cannot proceed with finishing the module!
Hi all,
The question is
Install an AppExchange dashboard package and make updates to one of the dashboards.
You’ve been asked to create a new Lead trending dashboard. Rather than creating the dashboard from scratch, install a CRM adoption dashboard package from the AppExchange into your Developer Edition environment and update one of the dashboard components as specified below. (Note: While it's a best practice to always clone a dashboard before you modify it, for this example, you can go ahead and modify the dashboard directly).
Install Salesforce Adoption Dashboards from the AppExchange into your Developer Edition.
Refresh the '3 - Sales & Marketing Adoption' dashboard in the 'Salesforce Adoption Dashboards' folder at least once.
In '3 - Sales & Marketing Adoption' dashboard, change the dashboard component for 'New LEAD Trend by Source' to a pie chart and set the wedges to Lead Source.

The thing that I did:

The Error I am getting:

The 'LEAD Trend by Source' dashboard component is not a pie chart.

The Error I get is: "Step Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
Please check that your report includes at least all of these columns: Supply: Supply Name, Unit Cost, Quantity and Total.
Note: you may run into errors if you've skipped previous steps."

not sure where I made a mistake

I read the thread titled "Create and enable a compact layout : Trailhead Challenge" and I thought that was my answer but I did the link to the Contact page correctly and I am still getting the error.  I have refreshed my developer version of Salesforce and I have refreshed my Salesforce1 app on my phone.

CompactLayout1
The actual compact layout I built in the wizard but could not locate the place to set it as the default until I search by title and it was already set as default in teh Contact page.
Contact Compact Layout
Below is the screenshot from my phone showing the page layout is working properly.

Any suggestions?
