i logged a case on 00283345 but not getting any responce from them

Hello all,

I'm currently working through Step 7 of the new "Lightning Component Framework Specialist" superbadge, and I'm running into an error while checking the challenge:

"The AddBoatReview controller's onSave() function doesn't fire the BoatReviewAdded event."

The problem is that I'm testing the component right now, and my event is being received by the parent just fine, and my tabset switches to the "Reviews" section like it should, so know it's being handled correctly. I've tried using both a Component event and an Application event just to debug a bit (even though Component is the best option for this scenario), and that doesn't change anything. Any idea what could be triggering this error message?

Relevant code:

AddBoatReviewController.js

onSave : function(component, event, helper){
    	component.set("v.boatReview.Boat__c",component.get("v.boat.Id"));

        component.find("service").saveRecord(function(saveResult) {
            if (saveResult.state === "SUCCESS" || saveResult.state === "DRAFT") {

               var cmpEvent = component.getEvent("reviewAdded");
		       cmpEvent.fire();

               //Attempt at trying an Application event instead
		       //var cmpEvent = $A.get("e.c:BoatReviewAdded");
		       //cmpEvent.fire();

                var resultsToast = $A.get("e.force:showToast");
                //Toast code and other saveResults states below...

I am facing another issue on this superbadge, specifically in Challenge #10, i am getting the following error:
The Campaign Influence Lightning report must have the correct 1. Aggregate, 2. Columns, 3. Groupings, and 4. Filter.

The requirements have no mention about what fields, groupings, filters, aggregates to include in the report. What am I missing?
Error Message:
Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
The AccountTab Visualforce page does not include one or both of the following: the apex:slds tag in the page, or the slds-table value in the table.

Hello all. I am working on the new superbadge and getting stuck on Challenge 3 . I have tried several solutions but cannot get the data to display in table format. Here is my code below, my main issue is where to place the table class in realtion to the pageBlockTable.

<apex:page standardStylesheets="false" standardController="Account" recordSetVar="accounts" tabStyle="account" applyBodyTag="false">
    <apex:slds >

                        </apex:column>

I'm having problems with the Check Challenge on step 6, with regards to the Chatter Group.

I have created the Chatter group and a lightning page to support it. I have been getting this error for the last hour:
User-added image

It's driving me nuts - I've tried everything, even renaming the page. It's quite clearly there.

User-added image

Salesforce is this a bug?
I keep getting an error on Item #4 "The custom set of fields that are highlighted on account records must be assigned to the required profile."

The requirement is asking for having highlights based on profiles, but as we know compact layouts are applied to the whole system not by profile.

I am not sure how to fix this, any help is appreciated.
We're instructed to send an email to the finance group -- that's pretty vague. I'm going to create a Finance group, made up of the CFO and subordinates. Am I missing something in the instructions?
I'm on Step 4- Create Sales Process and Validate Opportunities and got this error:

Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
There was an unexpected error while verifying this challenge. Usually this is due to some pre-existing configuration or code in the challenge Org. We recommend using a new Developer Edition (DE) to check this challenge. If you're using a new DE and seeing this error, please post to the developer forums and reference error id: NRTZWGSQ

I did create a new org and all other steps were fine. Any ideas?
Hi,

I'm not able to complete #2 Automate Accounts. It give me the following error.
"Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
Please check the configuration of the custom fields on the Account object. The formulas, rollup summaries, etc. did not produce the expected outcome."

Can anyone tell me what went wrong? Thanks.

My Custom Fields configuration are as following:
  • Number of deals (Roll-Up Summary field): Count Opportunity. No filter criteria
  • Number of won deals (Roll-Up Summary field): Count Opportunity with filter criteria as "Stage equals Closed Won"
  • Last won deal date (Roll-Up Summary field): MAX(Opportunity: Close Date) with filter criteria as "Stage equals Closed Won"
  • Deal win % (Formula field): Number_of_won_deals__c / Number_of_deals__c
  • Total amount of won deals (Roll-Up Summary field): SUM(Opportunity: Amount) with filter criteria as "Stage equals Closed Won"
  • Call for Service (Formula field): IF( DATE( YEAR(Last_won_deal_date__c)+2 , MONTH(Last_won_deal_date__c) , DAY(Last_won_deal_date__c) ) <= TODAY(), 'YES', 'NO')
I'm trying to complete the Handle Record Changes and Errors module but can't seem to get past the following challenge error:
Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
The 'accEdit' Lightning Component JS Controller does not appear to be setting 'v.recordSaveError' with an error message.

.I've tried many different combinations of sets and am not having much luck.

I've tried several different component.set methods such as this one:
component.set('v.recordSaveError','Error: ' + saveResult.state + ', message: ' + JSON.stringify(saveResult.error));

Any ideas what this module is looking for as a valid solution?

I do see recordSaveError display after being set due to an error.

Thanks.

I have this error and not sure how to resolve.  Since I can't find Sales Path Setting in the playground, so I use Path setting to create a new path.
However, it seems like the challenege doesn't recognize my work.  Can someone help me on how to resolve this?

thanks!
Problem Statement:

Create a form to enter new items and display the list of items entered. To make our camping list look more appealing, change the campingHeader component to use the SLDS. Similar to the unit, style the Camping List H1 inside the slds-page-header. Modify the campingList component to contain an input form and an iteration of campingListItem components for displaying the items entered.
  • The component requires an attribute named items with the type of an array of camping item custom objects.
  • The component requires an attribute named newItem of type Camping_Item__c with default quantity and price values of 0.
  • The component displays the Name, Quantity, Price, and Packed form fields with the appropriate input component types and values from the newItem attribute.
  • The JavaScript controller checks to ensure that the Name, Quantity and Price values submitted are not null.
  • If the form is valid, the JavaScript controller pushes the newItem onto the array of existing items, triggers the notification that the items value provider has changed, and resets the newItem value provider with a blank sObjectType of Camping_Item__c.

My Code:

Any help would be appreciated.

Challenge - Create a form to enter new items and display the list of items entered. To make our camping list look more appealing, change the campingHeader component to use the SLDS. Similar to the unit, style the Camping List H1 inside the slds-page-header. Modify the campingList component to contain an input form and an iteration of campingListItem components for displaying the items entered.
The component requires an attribute named items with the type of an array of camping item custom objects.
The component requires an attribute named newItem of type Camping_Item__c with default quantity and price values of 0.
The component displays the Name, Quantity, Price, and Packed form fields with the appropriate input component types and values from the newItem attribute.
The JavaScript controller checks to ensure that the Name, Quantity and Price values submitted are not null.
If the form is valid, the JavaScript controller pushes the newItem onto the array of existing items, triggers the notification that the items value provider has changed, and resets the newItem value provider with a blank sObjectType of Camping_Item__c.

My answer -
<aura:component >
<aura:attribute name="items" type="Camping_Item__c[]"/>
<aura:attribute name="newitem" type="Camping_Item__c[]"  default="{ 'sobjectType': 'Camping_Item__c',
                   'Quantity__c'=0, 'Price__c'=0}"/>
 <p>Name:
        <ui:inputText value="{!v.newitem.name}"/>
    </p>
  <p>Packed:
        <ui:inputCheckbox value="{!v.newitem.Packed__c}"/>

    </p>
  <p>Price:
        <ui:inputCurrency value="{!v.newitem.Price__c}"/>
    </p>
    <p>Quantity:
        <ui:inputNumber value="{!v.newitem.Quantity__c}"/>
    </p>
</aura:component>

Error -

Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
The campingList component isn't iterating the array of 'items' and creating 'campingListItem' components.

Please share the correct solution.

I've added the following code to my VF page:

<analytics:reportChart reportId="00Oc0000000aXNS" size="small"></analytics:reportChart>

The report is on cases and displays a pie chart.

The VF page displays details on a single selected account.  The chart however pulls in all cases regardless of account.  How would I amend the above code so that it only filters on the cases associated with the account being displayed on the page?

Hi,

I have a simply query in my apex class to return a record from a custom object, code below:

userIncentivePlan = [select name, isActive__c, owner.name, Target__c, Growth_Incentive_Rate__c from Incentive_Plan__c where user__c =:UserId and isActive__c='True'];

 With the "isActive__c = 'True'" where criteria, the query fails to return any results, therefore I am assuming it  always evaluates to false. (also confirmed this by printing it out to a visual force page)

the formula on the field contains some nested if statements but always equates to 'True' or 'False', code below:

if (User__r.Profile.Name = 'System Administrator',  Incentive_Rate__r.isActive__c ,
if (User__r.Profile.Name = 'Corporate Sales Manager', Incentive_Rate__r.isActive__c,
if (User__r.Profile.Name = 'Corporate Account Developer', Growth_Incentive_Rate__r.isActive__c,
if (User__r.Profile.Name = 'Corporate Account Manager', Growth_Incentive_Rate__r.isActive__c,
if (User__r.Profile.Name = 'Corporate Sales Super User', Incentive_Rate__r.isActive__c,
if (User__r.Profile.Name = 'Account Development Manager',
  if ( AND ( Incentive_Rate__r.isActive__c ='True',  Growth_Incentive_Rate__r.isActive__c ='True'), 'True', 'False'), 'False')
)))))

The isActive__c field reference on the incentiveRate object is also a formula field [could that be the cause of the problem??]

Strangely, when I view the custom object record through salesforce, it evaluates correctly to 'True'

Having seen this forum posing, it suggests what I have done is correct : link

.... however it is not working.

Any suggestions on how I can go about trying to resolve this would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
